Paint.net

I have been using a program called 'Paint.net' it is basically a piece of soft wear like photoshop but free and less advanced, but more advanced than Microsoft Paint

as shown in this picture at can do much more than Microsoft Paint but without the technical difficulties and cost of the professional soft wear. I have been experiencing problems with the text editing tool in that if i go below a certain font size everything becomes pixilated and unreadable

First Ideas for double page spread

These are links to my first idea for a double page spread, this was done before any proper research on the type of magazine was done and i have decided that i wil have to change the layout completly to suit the kind of magazine the article is going in after looking at some real life examples from the guardian
